Is this idea legit: subscription management software with a one-time payment?

Every time you make a subscription payment, just use a quick command to instantly log the details. The software will also send you reminders to make sure you don’t forget to cancel any subscriptions.

It costs $20 for a lifetime license. Would you be willing to pay for that?

there are tons of free reminder apps out there. I don’t see why anyone would pay for one.

Do you know any good ones? I keep forgetting to cancel subscriptions, and it’s really frustrating…

At least it’s not a subscription program!

I could just set a manual reminder on my calendar to cancel a subscription. I don’t deal with subscriptions every day, so I don’t need a special tool to manage them.

Plus, most subscription services already send email or text reminders a day before they renew.

So, to answer your question—no, I wouldn’t spend $20 on an app just to remind me about subscriptions.

Got it, thanks for the tip. I’m just wondering if anyone else, like me, misses emails and ends up paying extra fees.

Nope. My banking app handles this automatically and for free. It spots subscriptions and recurring payments, even if they’re not monthly.

As others mentioned, reminder and calendar apps are everywhere. I don’t see the need for another app with a different interface and input method. This problem is already well-covered.

No, if I have the time and patience to use a quick command to input the data, I’d just do it on my Google Calendar…
