Windows 11 isn’t turning off my monitor when I’m away, and I’m frustrated trying to fix it. Is there any simple third-party software that can turn off my monitor after 2-3 minutes?
Maybe check what’s keeping it on, instead of trying to force it
I’ve spent 4 hours on this and checked out over 6 different forums
Have you tried checking with powercfg? Specifically, try powercfg -requests
.
Yes, I did try that. Powercfg simply flickers before shutting off. It won’t open. Additionally, everything says “none” when I use the CMD command `powercfg -requests}.
There may be better or more official ways, but it seems like this app has a built-in idle timer. Turn off Monitor software
Thank you, I’ll give it a shot!
