My home security cameras are web-based, and they occasionally time out a few times a day. When that happens, I have to click a reconnect button for that camera to reset the live view. Is there an easy way to run a script or program that can look for that button to pop up anywhere on the screen and click it for me? I’m using a Windows 10 computer.
If you kill the program and run it again on a specific interval, would that fix it?
Macro Recorder does exactly what you’re looking for, and you don’t need any programming or coding skills to use it. You can set it up to monitor a specific area on your screen for any changes or for a particular image to appear, and then it can perform any mouse or keyboard actions you want.
Can it monitor locations. I have 6 cameras in a grid lattern and when one goes down for some reason I get a reconnect option for that particular camera not all of them
Absolutely, you can monitor multiple areas on your screen and set up different actions for each one. You might want to give the free demo a try to see how it works!
Just a heads up: the screen change detection is a beta feature in Macro Recorder v4, so keep that in mind. It triggers whenever there’s any change in the areas you’ve defined.
