Hey, does anyone know of any software that lets you download 4K YouTube videos? I’ve seen a few, but they all need a subscription, and I really don’t want to spend $25 for just 2 or 3 videos that I might never use again.
Check out Cobalt.tools, or use YT-DLP if you’re okay with command line tools.
YT-DLP is free and probably your best bet. It works for downloading YouTube videos and audio, and it’s good for other sites too.
Why bother with other programs when YT-DLP is already available? It’s a solid choice.
i still dont know how to use ytdlp, any guides?
If the command line seems too tricky (though it’s really not), you can use one of the GUIs for YT-DLP. For example, check out Stacher.
