I just started using Modelio, the open-source modeling software, and I’m trying to figure out if it can generate documentation, like a Word document or HTML file, from my models.
I read somewhere that Modelio uses “modules” to add more features, but I’m not sure if that’s working for me.
Does anyone know if it’s even possible to do this with Modelio? It would be great to know if I should keep looking for this feature or not!
Thanks! I actually checked there before posting but couldn’t find an answer.
What’s even more confusing is that there seems to be a paid version where this feature is possible. I thought Modelio was completely free—am I missing something?
This is a common way of funding software, the basic version is free, but you have to pay for extra features, extensions, or plugins. Looks like you found your answer…
From what I’ve read online, it appears that it should support that. At least it used to, perhaps that feature has now been removed from the open source version? It appears to be known as Document Publisher or a related term.
