I’m looking for recommendations for highly capable OCR PDF editors

I am looking for a reliable PDF editor that has strong OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities. I’ve seen UPDF, and it seems promising, but I’m open to other options.

Here’s what I need:

  • Accurate OCR to convert scanned PDFs into editable text.
  • A user-friendly interface with essential editing tools.
  • Good performance with large files, and multi-language OCR support would be a nice bonus.

If you’ve used any PDF editors with great OCR functionality, I’d love to hear your recommendations or experiences. I’ve tried UPDF and am looking for alternatives, so any help would be appreciated!

Bluebeam is the best OCR I’ve encountered. It’s also ridiculously expensive.

You can use texti .fyi to create a searchable PDF from your scanned documents, and then you can use that PDF in any software you like.
